Auburn High School DCP 1/64 T/T Available
The Auburn High School Vanguard Marching Band has approximately 125 members from grades 8 to 12. Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes in central New York, the band travels throughout central New York and has also been to Pennsylvania and New Jersey for competitions. Ten years ago the band boosters purchased a semi-trailer to haul around the band's instruments and props. The Vanguard band is the only high school marching band in central New York that utilizes a semi-trailer for its competitions. When the trailer was purchased, the problems of getting a driver for it came to light. A booster parent volunteered her husband who drove trucks part-time. His name is Peter Sigona. Peter is also an avid toy truck collector and a small toy dealer. After being the primary driver of the truck since its inception, Peter decided to have a toy made of the trailer. Die-Cast Promotions was tasked with production 150 trucks. A portion of the proceeds from each sale is being donated to the band boosters to be used for future trips.
